Students will write two reflective essays throughout the semester. This is essay one of two. Each assigned essay will relate to a major theme of the class. Reflective essays are written in a professional voice and tone, using appropriate APA style and formatting for the paper and the references (in text and ).

This essay should be no more than four pages in length, excluding the title page and . Showing connectivity to is required. When appropriate, the student may write in first person. An abstract is not required. An appropriately formatted APA reference page is required.
