Management of Patient Health/Illness Status: As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I will ensure that I maintain a continuous contact with my patients as well as with their parents to achieve maximum monitoring of their progress. I will make sure that my patients get the quality care that I can provide for their health. Drug prescriptions will not be over the counter or as a result of guess prescriptions but will issue a prescription after having test results from my patients. When test or examination results are not satisfactory, I will ensure that patients get the to establish the health problem. I will be honest enough to refer my patients to specialists when they happen to have health issues that require a specialized medical practitioner to handle.

NP-Pt Relationship: To maintain a healthy relationship with my patients, I will ensure that I respect their respective views regarding their personal health. I will as well maintain an honest relationship with patients give them and families the true information regarding their health unless otherwise advised. I will also advise my patients correctly and be careful enough that they do not make decisions that could harm or worsen their health situations. Maintaining an open relationship with my patients will be a priority so that patients feel free to share their health experiences for help.

Teaching-Coaching Function: As a PNP I will ensure that my patients of all ages will get that chance to understand their health situations if they need to. In situations where the patient cannot understand the situation, I will ensure that a family member is there to understand and know what is required of them. I will provide my patients with all relevant information at my disposal so that they can live healthily and avoid diseases that can be avoided. I will also advise my patients to my best ability and be willing to answer any questions they have regarding health.

Professional Role: I will maintain my health care provision services of the best quality I can. I will also ensure that I am there for my patients whenever they need me. I will make sure that I meet the laid down competencies of Nursing Practitioners to ensure that my service is of enough quality for the patients. I will maintain my membership to and participate in activities of my professional organizations.

Negotiating Health Care Delivery Systems: As a PNP I will ensure that the health care systems that I avail for my patients and those that I advise them to get are in accordance with their financial status. I will also make sure that the financial ability of my patients gets them the .

Monitoring/Ensuring Quality of HC: To provide the highest quality health care for my patients, I will make sure that I apply my best knowledge and partake medical activities that am sure of. I will also consult in situations where a medical concept does not appear perfectly clear to me to avoid putting my patients in danger.

Cultural Competence: will be my first priority in achieving cultural competence. I will serve all people equally and be cautious in cases where my decisions may not match the cultural preferences of my patients. I will ensure that no cultural differences come in the way of the best health care provisions.
