Based on the case analysis, it is evident that Mrs. G is nostalgic about everything revolving around her life. Such applies particularly to how she is determined to hold on to her home as such will allow her to keep the memories of her husband, who passed on, plus the life they built as a family. Her request for the nurse to visit her home more frequently provides an impression of loneliness. Further, she is not close with her children as they live in different towns and states. Mrs. G was highly dependent on her husband of 50 years, and his demise caused her to feel lost without his presence. She is only reminiscing about her life with her husband being alive.

Besides, the relocation will interrupt her livelihood and may seem like an abandonment of her marital home, where she spent most of her life with her family. Furthermore, she is observant of her culture, where she focuses on maintaining the traditional role of a woman by staying at her home while . She opts for her home nurse to visit more often. At her advanced stage, she is more likely to resist the changes as she will focus on maintaining her status quo in life. Further, not being involved or consulted on such an important decision, including her, feels disrespectful, especially from her children.

Her culture may influence her not to relocate. First, she is defined as a homemaker based on the Hispanic traditions of women. Therefore, she may feel that her home will be complete only if her presence is there. Thus, leaving her matrimonial home will seem like an abandonment of her identity as a wife and a mother. The information will be a subtle suggestion for Mrs. G to ask for help as her situation of falling will only worsen over time.
