For this assignment, I interviewed Mrs.
Juliet, who is a family friend. Mrs. Juliet is 62 years old. She has a height
of 154 cm and weighs 80 kilograms. Currently, Mrs. Juliet lives alone since her
children are all grown up, and her husband died many years ago.
Present Health
Mrs. Juliet has currently been diagnosed
with arthritis. This was after experiencing pain and stiffness in her joints
for a long time. The condition has made it difficult for Mrs. Juliet to perform
her daily tasks. Moreover, Mrs. Juliet cannot walk comfortably, and sitting up
straight is a problem. Mrs. Juliet is going through various treatments to
relieve the pain caused by her arthritis. She attends occupational therapy
sessions twice a week. These sessions are meant to help her learn easier ways
of performing her normal activities. For example, Mrs. Juliet has been learning
how to use her strongest joints and muscles to do her daily tasks while
limiting the use of her weaker joints and muscles. Also, Mrs. Juliet is taking
some by her doctor to reduce the pain and
inflammation caused by her condition. The doctor usually gives Mrs. Juliet

Additionally, Mrs. Juliet suffers from
type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Because of her diabetes, Mrs. Juliet is often
tired and has frequent infections. Mrs. Juliet’s condition did not get better
even after major lifestyle changes. Hence, her doctor prescribed insulin
therapy for her. Her diabetes condition led to hypertension, which has now
advanced to stage 2 hypertension. Mrs. Juliet takes thiazide medication to
control her condition.
Past Health
Many years ago, Mrs. Juliet developed a
joint injury while playing volleyball. Her joint injury was very serious to the
point where she had to undergo surgery. Mrs. Juliet has also gone through laser

ago. Mrs. Juliet has also been taking diabetes and hypertension medication for
the last ten years. Moreover, Mrs. Juliet suffers from recurring vaginal
infections, especially when she is unable to control her diabetes.
Mrs. Juliet has suffered from intense
migraine several times in her life. The migraines were often accompanied by
nausea, vomiting, and major sensitivity to light. Lastly, Mrs. Juliet suffered
from depression when her husband died. She was diagnosed with major depressive
disorder. Due to the depression, Mrs. Juliet had trouble performing her daily
activities, and she often felt that life was not worth living. Mrs. Juliet felt
intense sadness emptiness and had angry outbursts.
Family History
According to Mrs. Juliet, both her
parents had diabetes. However, they managed to control their condition and
lived long without further complications. Mrs. Juliet’s father had once
undergone hip replacement surgery. Both her parents wore glasses because of
poor eyesight. Juliet’s mother was also diagnosed with osteoporosis. Mrs.
